A new concept from Charlie Trotter’s alum John de Rosier, Wisma means “home” and sells fully prepared meals for people to eat at home. Everything offered in the store is handmade daily, and done from scratch with integrity and openness. All Wisma cuisine is fully cooked, packaged, and ready for you to take home or enjoy at the Market.
With additional locations in Lake Bluff and Libertyville, this growing cafe chain uses locally grown, organic or sustainable ingredients to create all of their sauces, dressing, salads, pastas, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.
Additionally, Wisma has built its shop using 100% reclaimed and recycled materials, including everything from counters to seating areas. Utensils and bags are also made from renewable or recycled contents and carry out containers are re-usable and microwave & dishwasher safe.
